Gold Arrow Station
Welcome to Gold Arrow Station, your home for the next week while you go through Orientation. My partner and I are here to instruct you about life here in the Kirinal Concordance Zone. At the end you will take a train or skyship from here to your basic training.
And I'm here to tell you how it really is Pit-Meat! You'll be ready to fight in the fortresses. You'll know what days to watch out for and when to relax. And you'll learn how to protect yourself from the shadow nasties with some good old adobo!
Gold Arrow Station stands on the western border of the Kirinal Concordance Zone. All rail, air, water, and land traffic coming from the west along the Gold Arrow River into the Zone must stop there for inspection. It also serves as the headquarters of the Zone Authority and has an Orientation Auditorium for new recruits.
Gateway to the West
The massive station is actually two large complexes on the northern and southern banks of the Gold Arrow River and connected by a bridge. Every boat, train, cart, and boat entering the Zone is subject to search by Zone Authority Border Agents. Every mortal entering the Zone is also assigned an ident-a-hedron before they are allowed entry.
Zone Authority Headquarters
The Zone Authority oversees operations throught the Zone from it's Headquartes in the Kirinal Council Canton complex on the southern banks of the river. All Zone agents receive their training at ZAHQ and the Zone Chief and his officers work from here.
The Orientation Auditorium is located in the Winter's Voice Canton complex of the Station on the northern bank. All new recruits coming to serve in the fortresses or in the Embassy Cities must go through the orientation process with the instructors: Instructor of Recruits and Sergeant Grokzaz Kill Flayer.
