Summer Camp 2023 Hub
Welcome to the hub for my Summer Camp activities. Just as I did in previous years, this is where you can come to find a list of my final articles and links to all of my work. In past years Summer Camp has led to me creating some incredible foundational parts of my fictional world. I'm looking forward to the same thing happening again this year.
I'm especially happy to see the World Anvil community rallying together and getting excited for this event! I love all the little groups that form around things like "Camp Feral" and "Camp Chill". I love how the community encourages each other and rallies to help one another. Great times are ahead!

I'm doing the official Summer Camp prep in my Pledge article. Take a look here.

Areas of Focus
Since I started world building on World Anvil, I've had six separate D&D campaigns start in my world. Some have ended and some are still going. They've all influenced the world to varying degrees, from throwing new moons into the sky, to fleshing out the night life in the Zone, to exploring hidden dragon empires. All of these areas need some TLC and here are the ones I want to start working on.
Embassy Cities
The cities in the Zone are called the "Embassy Cities" an out-of-date term that has stuck with them regardless of what they are now. My campaigns wind through them and they've become cool places for set pieces. I want to make them feel more lived in. What are the neighborhoods like? What's life like for the average citizens?
Sovranty of Lozar
Lozar used to be the main setting for my world in 2E to 3E, but somewhere in 3.5E the Pit became the main focus. In 5E the Zone and the moons have taken the focus. I'm interested in what has taken place in my old stomping grounds during the 20 IRL years that have passed since I looked closely at them.
Other Nations
In my campaigns, my players have recently been coming up against other powers in the world who don't have easy access to the Zone: Kaneyama, Empire of Safara, and the Dragon Empire. The other nations have been left out of the wealth of the Zone and they're trying to get their piece however they have to.
You got this, Kit! You'll get Diamond for sure! Summer Camp is one of the best times of the year. Looking forward to seeing your work!
Thanks shy!
