Tarot of Wizard's Peak
I created this custom tarot deck for my world In response to the Unofficial Artisan April Challenge from oaster2000. I may have gone a bit overboard!
I created each of the character figures in HeroForge, printed them out, and pasted them to some "Color Your Own Tarot" cards that I found on vacation. For two of them, Wheel of Fortune and The Tower, I re-purposed art that I have commissioned. I then hand colored each card, using the most common tarot deck and a D&D deck as inspiration.
I've tried to use my players' characters and prominent NPC's for as many of the cards as possible. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them!
The Tarot of Wizard's Peak (sometimes also called the Tadhana Deck) is based on the deck found commonly throughout the multiverse, but using figures and images from the world of Erathia. As on other worlds, it's used for games, divination, and magic. As a side note, I'm flattered to be included, but I didn't authorize the use of my image in the deck.
I remember me grammy orc had a deck when I was an orcling. It was mostly the same, Lola Carly as the High Priestess and the Navigator as Magician. But hers had the Necromancer as Death. Some of these new cards have folks younger than me! Oh wait! I'm on the Six of Swords!!
This particular deck is named for Wizard's Peak University, the location of the preeminent school of magic in the world. No one knows who decides on the particular figures shown on the cards. These decks are known to inexplicably change faces when major world events take place.
The deck is used for divination by amateur hobbyists, professional fortunetellers, and divination wizards alike. Local versions with other illustrations also exist, but this version is the most popular throughout the Zone & Sovranty.
It is also used for card games like "Baku v. Aswang", "Honor of Anam", and "Blackjack Sky." The game version of the deck omits the Major Arcana and the Pages of each suit, but sometimes includes the Fool and the Magician for soem games.

DUDE! These came out so great. And I didn't realize just how many cards there are in a tarot deck, because I was scrolling and had just gotten through the Major Arcana when I thought to myself, "Man, that's a lot of work!" and then realized just how much more there was. Bravo! You should be proud. This is excellent!
