This bola is reinforced with a sturdier cord and heavier weights on each end. When thrown, it can be aimed at the target's legs to grapple them and knock them prone, or used around their torso to restrain their hands, preventing any actions, bonus actions, or reactions that require use of their arms or hands.

A Large or smaller creature hit by a bola is affected by it until it is freed. A bola has no effect on creatures that are formless, or creatures that are Huge or larger. A creature can use its action to make a DC 15 Strength check, freeing itself or another creature within its reach on a success. Dealing 10 slashing damage to the bola (AC 10) also frees the creature without harming it, ending the effect and destroying the bola.
