This weapon has the Light property and does fire instead of slashing damage. When held, a magical flame forms at the top of the whip's handle. The flame gives off bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for another 20 feet. You can stretch the flame to forma 10-foot long coil of fire (no action required) by snapping the handle and flame down as if to crack the whip. The flame does not harm you while you are weeilding the whip, allowing you to snuff out the wire with your hand in order to extinguish the whip.
While the fire is magical, it canot remain lit when submerged in water. The fire is not a physical form and cannot bind creatures or retrieve objects from afar, but can be used to light other fires.
