Description

La Alma is a professional wrestler following the path of the Luchador. In his home town he was undefeated and honored within the community, but due to boredom he left for Joaldo Island to compete in the Paramount Tournament, hoping to meet a challenge. His lucha-libre fighting style wowed the audience, as well as the tournament's host, "The Barron." The Barron offered Alma treasure and fame if La Alma could win the tournament, which inspired him to do so, becoming the new Paramount Champion. However, La Alma was blackmailed by The Barron, as the death of the previous Champ was framed to suggest La Alma guilty, due to foul play. The Barron put a leash on La Alma to continue to defend the Champion title, raking in a much larger audience and a TON of gold for The Barron.

Actions

Multiattack. La Alma can make two attacks per turn. Either one grapple, and one luchador move, two grapples, or two unarmed attacks.   Grapple. You attempt to grab a creature. On success, the creature takes 1d4 points of damage and is grappled.   Lucha-Libre Fighting Style. Once a creature is grappled, you can choose to do one of the following Luchador moves. Doing so released the grapple:

  • Michinoku Driver. You flip an opponent upside down and slam them into the mat. The creature must make a DC 15 DEX Save, on a failure they take 2d6+5 bludgeoning damage and are knocked prone. On a success, the creature takes half damage and are not prone.
  • Brainbuster. You slam an opponent's head into the mat. The creature must make a DC 15 CON save. On a failure, the creature takes 1d10+5 bludgeoning damage and is stunned. On a success, the creature takes half damage and is not stunned.
  • Tornado Toss. You spin an opponent around. All creatures within 5ft, including the grappled one, must make a DC 15 DEX save. On a failure, the surrounding creatures take 2d6+5 bludgeoning damage and be pushed back 5ft, and the grappled creature is thrown 15ft and knocked prone. On a success, the surrounding creatures take no damage, and the grappled creature takes half damage, but all are still pushed back or thrown.
  • Submission. You wrestle your opponent to the grown in a lock of your choosing. The creature must make a DC 15 CON save. On a failure, the creature takes 1d10+5 bludgeoning damage and is paralyzed. On a success, the creature takes half damage and is not paralyzed.
