Spectral and Mysterious. Beings born from the remains of failed rituals, ch’thyrians are feared and often referred to as monsters. No two ch’thyrians look the same, but they all share basic characteristics: humanoid body types, ghostly energy in place of skin, warped proportions, horns, and mysterious magical markings covering their bodies. Some ch’thyrians wander the world in search of why they were created, while others search for revenge. They possess mysterious, magic-related abilities and are considered quite dangerous, especially due to their human-like intelligence.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence scores increase by 1, and your Wisdom score decreases by 2.
Age. Due to their ethereal bodies, ch'thyrians age similarly to lesser spirits. They are fully grown when created, and simply fade out of existence after 700-1000 years.
Alignment. All ch'thyrians have different goals and personalities, as no two ch'thyrians are created the same. The best and worst of their kind are found among them.
Size. The ghastly forms of a ch'thyrian can take on many shapes when they are born. Your size is either small or medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Phantasmal Form. Your body is made of magical and spiritual energy. You are immune to disease, and cast bright light in a 5-foot radius, and dim light for another 10 feet.
Phantom Touch. Any melee weapon attacks or spells you use against another spirit will inflict greater damage thanks to your unstable spiritual form. When you attack a spirit with a melee weapon or damaging spell, that attack deals an additional 1d8 force damage.
This additional damage increases to 1d10 at 5th level, and 1d12 at 7th level.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Spectral.
