Medium Human, Cook, Lawful Good
The daughter of a traveling merchant, Merida grew up on the road. She has seen much in her life, and as such is perfectly happy to be sitting in one place. Merida is a stout, healthy woman with dark brown, naturally curled, hair and a friendly, round face. She has the walk and demeanor of someone who keeps and enforces order where ever she goes, but who is tender and loving with all who stay within that order. Merida takes great pride in her cooking and in her ability to serve patrons of The Watering Hole inn, making them feel as if they are at their second home. She also recognizes that, on the road, persons can start acting unwisely as they feel free from the structures of society and has determined that The Watering Hole will allow no such shenanigans. She is the enforcer of the inn, and people quickly learn to respect her stern, but fair, rule. As a doppelganger, Merida has loosened up on her strict governance of the inn, though having the voice of authority has been occasionally helpful to the gang. She seems, these days, to not care very much if patrons are overly drunk or loud, but be very insistent when a room needs to be cleared or she needs someone to provide her with assistance.
Community. Merida cares very much for building a healthy community and helping all to feel at home at The Watering Hole.
Family. She is the glue that holds the family together and keeps them in line. Without her, she is certain Morgan, Roderick, and Ella would have no idea what to do with themselves.
Though she will pretend that it does not bother her, Merida can be very sensitive about the quality of her cooking and the breadth of her hospitality. She can become hurt if someone expresses displeasure with it.
