Age: Young Spellscales grow at an accelerated rate approximately twice as quickly as humans age, though only during childhood. Around the age of eight when their bodies have matured to the level of 16-year-old humans, their physical development abruptly slows to a human rate of growth. Spellscales can easily live for hundreds of years, typically to almost 300, and their bodies do not start growing feeble until weeks before they expire from age. Size: Spellscales are generally the same size as Humans, and therefore are Medium size. Skill Versatility: You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice. Blood Quickening: By performing a personalized ritual during a Long Rest, you can tap into your divine blood and change your draconic subtype, once you change your subtype you must finish a Long Rest before you can do so again. This changes your Draconic Magic trait. You may also alter the colours and patterns of your scales, though your current draconic subtype is always the dominant colour. Draconic Magic: You know one cantrip based on your current draconic subtype. Charisma is your Spellcasting Ability.
