Revenant
Ability Score Increase Constitution +2 up to a maximum of 20. You retain your races previous ability score improvements.
Size Medium
Speed 30 ft
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 ft as if it were bright, and can see in darkness as if it were dim light. You cannot see color, only shades of grey.
Life Essence
The revenant uses a currency known as Life Essence to stay alive. When the revenant performs a Killing Blow on an enemy of CR 1/2 or higher, they gain 1 Life Essence up to a maximum of 5 Life Essence. If the revenant reaches 0 Life Essence, they are immediately destroyed, leaving behind their items as their body turns to ash. Each week in Living Erenel (during the Weekly Update), the revenant loses 1 Life Essence. If the revenant makes a death saving throw and fails the roll, they lose 1 Life Essence. During death saving throws, if the revenant rolls a 1, they lose 2 Life Essence. If a Revenant succeeds on three death saves, the revenant immediately regains hit points equal to their Constitution modifier.
Turn Immunity
You are immune to effects that turn undead and are resistance to Necrotic damage.
Unholy Regeneration
You are unaffected by healing magic and cannot be healed by your allies with spells. Healing and alchemical potions also have no effect on a revenant. A revenant has hit die and may spend them during a short rest. In addition, a revenant has 1 point of Unholy Regeneration, which can be expended as a bonus action, to regain hit points equal to 1d10+ your constitution modifier. You gain an additional point of Unholy Regeneration at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th and 20th level. You regain all expended Unholy Regeneration points when you take a long rest.
Undead Nature
Your type is now Undead, though you may still be targeted by effects that target humanoids if the effect does not explicitly exclude Undead. You cannot be raised from the dead or be banished from the mortal plane. You do not eat, drink, or breathe. However, to maintain a grip on reality, you must meditate for 4 hours a day. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that other races do from 8 hours of sleep.
Vengeance
When you take damage from a creature in range of weapon you are wielding, you can choose to activate Vengeance. The next attack you make against the creature is done so at advantage. You can use Vengeance a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.
