"Late one night, a gaggle of hearty laughs can be hear near a campfire, as a group of adventurers tell stories about where they're from. The Dwarven Cleric goes first, telling of a humorous festival they throw every year where they race in their minecarts to see who can finish first. Next, the Elven Fighter, who told a story of how she got so drunk, she bid all of her gold on a stuffed animal. As each member took turns telling stories, the role of storyteller eventually falls on a young man who was a Bard, one with bunny ears and a tail, whose silky purplish-pink hair flowed in the wind and whose gold eyes glimmered in the fire. "Auright!" the Dwarf started. "Your turn, Rabbit-Stew!" Before the mysterious member could tell his story, he was interrupted by the Elf, who posed her question with an inquisitive look. "Hold on, where are you even from, Mirio? I've been to nearly every continent in my 130 years of life, and I've never once seen anyone of your kind during my travels. You must be from somewhere pretty~ remote!" She laughed, bringing her mug up to her lips and taking a heavy gulp of fine Dwarven ale. Mirio simply chuckled, then spoke in a soft, almost melodic voice. "Well, you might not believe me, but..." as he said this, Mirio stood up, and faced his back to the large, full Moon, its bright light creating an outline around him. Then, with his front covered in a darkening shadow, his eyes glowing a bright yellow hue, he spoke softly. "The Moon. I'm from the Moon.""- Excerpt from Mirio: Of the Moon and Song.
Physical Description   Graceful, slim and proper, the Tsukagi are a race of peaceful humanoid beings who primarily live on the Moon. They are incredibly tall, coming in at round 6 to 7 ft tall, and are relatively skinny, coming in at around 40 to 50 Lbs in weight. They are almost identical to humans in both facial structure and body composition, except for the existence of two bunny-ear like appendages on their heads, and a bushy, bunny-like tail on their lower back. While their face is very human-like, they do have some oddities which set them apart. Additionally, Tsukagi usually have hair colors which span from black to lilac, indigo, violet, iris, and, in rare cases, white. Their eye colors usually tend to be a dark grey up until they reach physical maturity, which is when their eye colors change to a much more brighter, more vivid color. This is often seen as a sign of growth and maturity, and marks the end of a Tsukagi's childhood. While the Tsukagi are almost identical to humans in body structure, they do have some glaring differences. For starters, Tsukagi eyes usually appear larger than the average Human or Elf, though not too large as to be odd or strange, and their faces usually appear to be naturally more feminine. Tsukagi legs also appear to have a different structure as well, as they appear to put more power into the thigh and calf as to allow for higher jumping and faster sprinting. One final point of interest is the fact that most Tsukagi have two large front teeth, which appear to be slightly larger than the average humans. Despite this, it is still believed that the Tsukagi are omnivores, as evident by the Tsukagi's canine teeth, which are sharp like a humans, and not flat like an herbivore.   History   Like their Earthen counterparts, the Sekagi, the Tsukagi used to be apart of a bigger race known as the Mikoto; pacifistic humanoid being with similar bunny like features, and creations of the Lady of the Moon, Lady Kaguya. These people could be found all over the world, though a heavy concentration was found in the Eastern Isles. They generally lived peaceful lives, mingling with other races and serving as entertainers, teachers, workers, and traders, to name a few occupations. That all changed one day, however, when a civil war engulfed the Islands. The Mikoto, being pacifistic and refusing to fight, decided to sit out the war and enter hiding. However, one group decided that hiding would not be good enough; there was still a chance they could be found. So, through magic and secrets that even modern Tsukagi don't even remember, they devised a way to escape their planet's atmosphere, and reach the Moon which hung above the world. From there, they developed many Tsukagien cities, such as Mirai, the Golden Capital, which is located in the Tsukagi Crater. They begun cultivating life on their new home, and have turned the Moon into a habitable environment. However, and have become so distant from their Earthen counterparts that even if they went back down, they probably could no longer fit in, as they had changed so much in such a short time.   Society   Tsukagi culture and society is heavily pacifistic and very respectful, as they generally tend to avoid conflict, and may even shame others for having such ideals. Many often choose to live very peaceful and simple lives, taking part in simple pleasures such as stargazing, grand feasts, or even just throwing parties. And while there are martial trainings taught in cities like Mirai, these are rarely ever used for combat purposes, and are mainly used to defend against harm. Tsukagi love festivals and celebrating the world around, specifically with the fall, as that is the time when their harvest is complete, and their moon turns into the harvest moon. During this time, the Tsukagi take part in heavy prayer towards the Lady of the Moon, in hopes that she will bless them once more, and so that she can continue their transportation between the moon and the planet. In many parts of the world, Tsukagi have been known to live and mingle with many other species, as they help teach, entertain, and trade with the other races they interact with. Tsukagi tend to help set up schools or academies for talented individuals, and usually teach at such schools. While all Tsukagi have ties to the Moon, only certain elder clerics of the Moon Lady may actually create pathways to the Moon. Tsukagi housing usually consist of Japanese Edo period architecture with slight technological advancements here and there. The technology they have created is powered by potent raw magic, and using such magic, they have managed to create a breathable atmosphere for their people. The process behind this is only known to the oldest of Tsukagi Elders, who, despite still remembering it, will never tell anyone. Tsukagi communities heavily value intellect and respect, as it is commonplace to even address your older family members with honorifics, no matter how close you are. Despite this, there is still a strong sense of community, and Tsukagi communities tend to always help each other out. When interacting with outsiders, the Tsukagi tend to be fairly hostile at first, though this is most likely out of fear rather than hate. However, once one is to gain their trust, the Tsukagi will treat you very similarly to how they treat each other. As long as you respect their culture, they generally won't have a problem with you. However, don't expect to migrate to the Moon; many Tsukagi don't like other races immigrating to their homeland, and some communities will even pay the immigrant to leave. Tsukagi society also tends to be heavily saturated with celebration and partying. While the Tsukagi have many holidays throughout the year that they celebrate with overwhelming zeal, the Tsukagi tend to celebrate the most during the season of fall. The reason behind this is because the fall was the season when the Tsukagi left their planet behind and started their new life on the Moon. Thus, the whole season of fall is very important to them. Another important tradition is the creation of Mochi. The act of creating Mochi is so sacred that only those who are selected by the previous Mochi maker may make Mochi. Though the reason as to why this is important has been lost, it is believed that Mochi was a very important dessert to the Mikoto, which explains why both the Tsukagi and the Seikagi consider Mochi to be a sacred food. On the topic, if there is at any point in a Tsukagi's life where they meet a Seiakagi, they will generally be extremely friendly with each other, bonding over their fondness for the Moon Lady, and generally sharing common beliefs, even if the Tsukagi are slightly arrogant. On another note, the Tsukagi, although they may be indifferent to the Fae's practices, generally dislike the Fae and their almost tyrannical grip on the masses. Tsukagi usually tend to scorn any Fae they come across, and will usually look down on them, a practice the Fae aren't too fond of.   Tsukagien Names   Many Tsukagi still go by the old naming tradition of their ancestors. Almost all Tsukagi, with few exceptions, have their names start with an M. However, oddly enough, Tsukagi don't have last names. Instead, they add numbers to their names to indicate individuality. For example, if there is already a Mochi the 248th, then another Mochi born after would be known as Mochi the 249th.   Male: Misato, Mako, Mayo, Mikio, Moto, Mochi, Mutsu, Min, Mikoto Female: Miu, Maki, Machi, Maya, Mei, Mimi, Misa, Momo, Min, Mikoto   Tsukagi Traits   Ability Score Increase: Your Charisma or Intelligence increases by +2, and either your Wisdom, Dexterity, or Constitution increase by +1.   Age: Tsukagi live to be around 330 years old like their Earthen counterparts. However, after this, they tend to stay as a young adult for their entire lives, with them only getting older as they reach their final few years.
