Stalkroots are tall and thin yet exceptionally strong for their scrawny form. They're skin is like bark and where their head should be is a large floating glowing orb. They are only ever seen in Bargrin and if they are seen anywhere else it was most likely against there will. Telepathy: stalkroots can telepathically communicate with any creature they can see within 60 feet of them. They don't need to share a language or know a language but it can't have an intelligence less then 6 unless it's a plant, beast or another stalkroot. If they communicate with another stalkroot then the range of the telepathy becomes 200 feet and they don't need to see them. Deaf: stalk roots cannot hear. All seeing: stalkroots have proficiency with the Investigation and perception skills and have advantage on those skill checks if they have more than 3/4s of their maximum HP. Mental fortitude: stalkroots have resistance to psychic damage and have advantage on intelligence saving throws. Heat sensitivity: you have vulnerability to fire damage and have disadvantaged on all saving throws while under the effects of extreme heat. Mental burst: as an action you can deal psychic damage equal to twice your level to everyone within 30 feet of you including yourself. Once you do so you have vulnerability to psychic damage and are blind until the end of your next turn.
