Description: Shroom'a are fungal humanoids similar to creatures such as the myconids but are of unknown possibly alien origin that are most anywhere but usually in forests. The Shroom'a are strange and unique possessing unusual qualities such as the ability to break down and absorb any physical material and incorporate it into their bodies and even their physiology or the ability to change their form and biology at will near instantaneously, but whatever they are they are powerful and dangerous even unpredictable with the majority possessing wildly different behavior from each other at best...just hope you never have to witness them at worse.   Biology: Their biology while closely following fungal biology is also simultaneously very far removed from ordinary fungi, each individual is comprised of a colony of individual cells that function as super cells capable of performing any cell function in existence, said cells while bigger than most other cell types also contain all the normal things the most borderline organelles (cell components) any other cell would contain like a nucleus, chromosomes, DNA and so on but in addition each Shroom'a cell contain organelles that appear to be miniature and extremely basic versions of what appear to be organs like a nervous system, a uni-lung, heart, kidneys, stomach, veins, and what even appears to be a primitive brain which is how every cell seems to be conscious and intelligent even how each cell has a primitive personality (usually derived from an emotion), These very cells when together combine their consciousness into one by creating mycelium internally and externally connecting their brains to each other becoming a single instance of Shroom'a this process and the fact that each cell is it's own being partially explains the randomly developed and chaotic personality of each Shroom'a, but the strangest thing about these cells are the substances they both create and are made from which we have failed to identify as they resemble nothing that is found in our world or in any other realm we manage to travel to via the help of elder wizards making these creatures truly alien but these substances do help to explain why they are susceptible to heat, caustic elements, and even electricity as they extremely flammable, P.H. Sensitive to materials above 9.5 and 2.7, and impossibly conductive possessing a s/m rating x7 times higher than silver, the only thing protecting them from the basic elements in our world that could easily destroy them is a cell wall 94nm thick"   dr.talvani, Evermeet national house of medicine and alchemy-       absorption: Shroom'a physiology allows for the consumption and infusion of all materials including that of living creatures, if an enemy is at 10 hp or lower and/or is stunned the player can instantly kill them and perform absorption (unless target enemy is already dead then absorption becomes optional but only if the corpse is not heavily rotted). upon successful absorption, the player has a con based 1d20 chance of gaining a skill, feat, knowledge, or attribute of the enemy, player can also consume any object or consumable and permanently gain its effects and attributes with a con based 1d20 roll, absorption can be used to gain up to 3 additions a day, any additions past this limit cause you to suffer 1d6 genetic damage per addition past 3 for every time you gain a new addition   scatter: twice a day outside of combat and once during combat the player character can split into small-2d4/medium-2d6/large-2d8 independently controlled shroomite's that can reassemble after 1d4+1 turns. if all shroomite's are within a 40ft (8 space) radius, if your character's hp drops to 10 or less, scatter activates automatically with all shroomite's gaining a +5 bonus to hide and evasion, scatter cannot be triggered if suffering from fire, acid, or electric damage.   Malleable form: you can manipulate the shape of your body and emulate different materials, organs, and parts from creatures & objects you have previously consumed.   Microbial frequency: your body can produce sound on the cellular level only other Shroom'a, myconids, plantfolk, and goo creatures can hear and understand granting the ability to silently communicate with these creatures privately from all other life, when within 60ft of another Shroom'a gain +5 int +10 wis and bonus 1d6 to perception, investigation, nature, insight, survival, and history checks, effect does not stack with additional Shroom'a, this effect is canceled out by loud noise and deafness.   Shroom'a regeneration: you regenerate small-10/medium-15/large-20 hp outside of combat per hour and small-1/medium-3/large-5 hp in combat per turn, your health cannot go below 1 hp unless suffering fire, acid, and electrical damage and cannot regenerate while afflicted   Rooting: as a plant creature you can grow roots either into the ground to sleep and/or satiate hunger or into living tissue allowing you to connect to, feel, and influence the living tissue granting 1d8 bonuses to persuasion, deception, medicine, investigation, insight and granting telepathy. Infusion to a sapient creature can be resisted by a will check with a DC of 15. This DC increases by 1 every other turn after the initial infusion   Broken speech: Shroom'a have great difficulty understanding grammar and when speaking in any language except for Shroom'a, abyssal, primordial, when speaking any other languages roll a int dc of 10 or higher if the check tails then the other pc or npc you spoke to just roll a wis dc of 14 or higher to understand what your trying to say.   Non attuned: unlike the rest of life in the world, Shroom'a have no natural connection this unable to learn or use spells, magic, or arcana and require mana crystals, magical artifacts, or things infused with magic and mana to be able to wield magic, your character starts with 10 mana crystals, a primordial orb, and a spellbook if your character starts with a magic based class   Vulnerable to fire, acid, and electrical damage possessing a -10 resistance to all 3 elements and suffering a bonus 10 damage when immediately inflicted, resistance score and bonus damage score stack   Immune to disease   Low light vision 120ft   Dark vision 60ft   Resistant to poison damage   Toughness
