They live in secrets and co-existing instances, trusting of few and survive as a resource sort. Ratfolk have shown despite living in informally rough conditions, they have proven time and time again they can make even the messy and disgusting places into a liveable home. ===== Smart and Resourceful At first appearance seeing a Ratfolk, most people would think these Filthy Rats are basically homeless and lack of any culture of their own, but this couldn't be far from the truth. While some are dirty, they are some that manage to remain clean and groomed despite living in swamps and sewers. They are like small humanoid rats in appearance, covered head to toe in fur. Male Ratfolk stand around 2 to 2'2 feet tall and Female are about 1'8 to 2 feet tall. Generally they weigh about 45 to 70 pounds. The coloration of their furs are in wide variety. This can range from black to white or Brown to a Dark navy blue. Ratfolk eyes only come in the color of black, except they're some white fur Ratfolk that do have red eyes, but this trait is very rare. Most Ratfolk learn to use what they can and try just about whatever would work. =====Life Expanded The life of a Ratfolk is a short one, often serve for the good of their colony. Ratfolk reach adulthood at 12 and live only a brief 50 years. Ratfolk lean since the day they can walk and speak, all they may need to know to survive. In ways of crafts, Ratfolk tends more to sewing and Repair things that are broken. This mostly entails over the fact that they repurpose object of larger races for whenever they need at the time. Things they often repurpose are things like a pair of socks made into a pants or make a fire starter out of glasses. Ratfolk that live in swamp lands are more deprived then a sewer dwelling Ratfolk but this behaviour of scavenging isn't no different. Mainly, instead of scraps of metal, fabric, and whatever else they have in hand. Swamp dwelling Ratfolk do the same but instead of these type of resources, they salvage things like bones, fungus, and when times are very tough, they rob whole tribes of Lizardfolk only to disappear. Another noted fact of Ratfolk is that they love stories, especially books. Many Ratfolk scout tend journey into libraries, barrow a book, and return it before the owner notice. =====Going out and living It is very rare for a Ratfolk to seek adventure and quest. Normally this as a result from either seeking a better living for his village or out of an over whelming curiosity. They receive a Birth name first, this name lasts until the child grows into adulthood. Upon reaching adulthood, the Village Priest or someone of high Religion authority bless removes their birth name and bestow to names. A Public name, which is for the world and a True name which is only to be known by family and trusted friends. The Public Name is name any object one can find, like Rake, Buttons, or Rope. Common True Name: Peechapir, Quini, Creek, Bre, Muk, Salt, Ruerue, Vix, Maki, Loou, and Drell.
