Age. A Quintessant is sustained by the very weave, and when an ample supply is provided, have not been observed to die. When moved to an area of standard amounts of weave, or even no weave, they have a maximum age of 150 and disperse more and more into the environment as they age. Alignment. A Quintessant is born into the world with no preconceived nature. As such, they can be molded into whatever environment raises them. Size. You weigh very little, being 10 pounds at the most, and are about 5 to 7 foot tall. You are medium. Speed. You have a walking speed of 30 feet. Arcane Locomotion. Your form is light enough and powered well enough that you are able to hover just above the ground, should you desire. When you walk, you may do so by hovering only six inches above the ground. (Note: despite this allowing you to hover, this is not the same as having a hover speed.) Elemental Form. After a long rest, choose one of the following damage types: Fire, Cold or Lightening. You gain resistance to the chosen dragon type until the end of your next long rest. You also gain the Shocking Grasp cantrip, with the modifications as listed below as per you chosen damage type: Fire: You no longer gain advantage against a target wearing metal armor, but you may choose a creature within 5 feet of your original target. If your attack roll would also hit the second target, you may do an additional 1d4 fire damage to the target. This damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4). Cold: You no longer gain advantage against a target wearing metal armor, but on a hit, the targets speed is reduced by 10 feet. Lightening: The spell remains unchanged. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell. Kinship with the Weave. You gain proficincy in intellegence (Arcana). You can also cast Detect Magic with this trait. Once you reach level 3, you may cast Detect Thoughts. Your spell casting ability modifier is Intelligence, and you can cast these spells only once per long rest. Darkvision. Being born of the weave, you eyes are much more open to the world. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
