4-level Necromancy
You create three spectral coils gleaming with green necrotic
energy. Make a ranged spell attack against up to three
separate targets within range, one for each coil. Each
successful attack deals 2d12 necrotic damage and the target
must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become
frightened of you until the end of your next turn. If the target
makes a successful saving throw, it cannot be frightened by
this spell for 24 hours.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell
slot of 5th level or higher, the damage of each coil increases
by 1d12 for every two slot levels above 4th.
