Aura of Starvation. A creature that starts it's turn within 10 feet of the wendigo must succeed on a DC15 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed by gnawing cold and crippling hunger for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If the creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the wendigo's Aura of Starvation for the next 24 hours.

Actions

Multi-attack. The wendigo makes three attacks: two with its icy claw and one with its bite. Alternatively, it uses its Frozen Spittle twice.   Icy Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5ft, One Target. Hit: 12 (2d6+5) slashing damage and 14 (4d6) cold damage.   Bite. Melee Weapon attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: 14 (2d8+5) piercing damage.   Frozen Spittle. Ranged Spell Attack: +7 to hit, range 100ft, one target. Hit: 28 (8d6) cold damage, and the target must succeed on a DC16 Dexterity saving throw or be restrained until the end of its next turn.   Legendary Actions   3/day Grappling Charge The wendigo charges it's target with lightning speed, up to 100ft, grabbing the target and dragging the target with the wendigo. The wendigo may move a medium object 60ft, and a medium creature up to 40ft per round, and may throw an medium object 50ft in any direction, and a medium creature 30ft in any direction. Any creature thrown takes (2d10) damage related to the terrain it lands on, or takes (3d10) bludgeoning if thrown into a wall or other vertical, hard surface. Any creature the wendigo is dragging has the grappled condition, and may make a strength contest with the wendigo each round to break free. The target is dropped if the wendigo takes more than 65 damage in one attack.   2/day Eviscerating Sprint. The wendigo charges it's target with lightning speed, up to 100ft, digging its claws into its targets abdomen or throat, eviscerating the target. On a crit, the target is immediately downed and is bleeding out, taking 1d10 damage per turn from blood loss until stabilized. Hit: +9, reach 100ft, one target. 33 (6d10) Slashing damage, target looses (1d6) hit points due to blood loss per round and is incapacitated.   1/day Cannibalistic Tenancies The wendigo takes a bite out of any incapacitated, prone, grappled (or grappling), downed, or willing creature and consumes it. The wendigo regains (12d6) health, creature takes half of the damage the wendigo heals, and the wendigo immediately recovers from the following conditions: Blinded, Deafened, Fatigue, Poisoned, and Petrification (unless already Fully Petrified). If the creature grappling the wendigo is bit, target must succeed a DC 20 Strength Check, or the wendigo breaks free, and target is knocked prone.

At first, the creature looks like an emaciated man running, then it looks like a large wolf. Right before it attacks, it is obvious the creature is neither.   Born of Greed and Starvation. The wendigo's origins are mysterious. Some claim they are beings summoned forth from the corpses of humans who have died of starvation. Others say they come from those who have died because of cannibalism or thier own greed.   An Insatiable Appetite. Wendigos are found in harsh climates, preying on the weak and hungry. Legends speak of entire settlements devoured by a single wendigo. All that remains of these settlements are eerily silent buildings and a few scattered bones, all material wealth untouched.   An Emaciated Horror. Wendigos have an emaciated humanoid shape with some disturbing lupine features, described by one scholar as a "hairless zombie werewolf."   Punisher of Vices. Wendigos also have a special role in the punishment for cannibalism and greed. Greedy or cannibalistic individuals whose vices have caused the death of others, directly or indirectly, might be cursed by those victims as the victims die. This curse manifests as a wendigo being unleashed into the world.
