Materials Twelve ounces of consecrated water; the corpse of a humanoid that has been dead less than one week.

By washing your hands with holy water and placing them on the body of a dead humanoid, you imbue its blood with a fragment of life energy. For the duration, if the dead body is touched or handled by the creature that killed it, it will bleed profusely and stain the hands of the murderer. The bloodstains persist for 24 hours and cannot be removed with any magical effect of 5th level or lower.
