Blighted Malice A Wickerutt is a foul, twisted creature that lurks in swamps, jungles, and forests consumed by blight or desecration. It is said that these malicious creatures were once ghouls and ghasts; able to remember their former self, before consuming Fey creatures steeped in dark magic. A Wickerutt draws upon the powers left behind in mottled landscapes, where the seeds of evil litter the ground and darken the skies. They prowl beneath a bleak forest's canopy, using their multiple limbs to clamber into trees in search of vermine to consume. Druidic Devourers A wickerutt loves nothing more than to feast of the flesh of druids and their fey ilk. The pure feywild magic that eminates from a creature, such as a Druid's spellcasting, or an elf's blood, sets upon the senses of a Wickerutt like a drug, sending them into an animalistic, hunger driven-frenzy. With simple, crude daggers, either stolen from an unfortunate victim or created from sharpened rocks or bones, a Wickerutt will stalk it's prey endlessly while it remains within its blighted territory, biding its time before bursting forth from the undergrowth in a flurry of noxious poison and whirling blades.
