When you cast this spell, you must be touching
a living creature and a normal tree at the same
time. That tree must be large enough to
accommodate the creature’s body in each
dimension. When you finish casting the spell,
the creature’s body melds into the trunk of the
tree. You can designate yourself as the spell’s
recipient.
You can spend up to 24 hours within the three.
For each hour you spend in the tree, the tree
nourishes and heals you. You have no need to
breathe, eat, or sleep. You gain 1 hit die of
healing for each hour you spend in the tree. In
addition, one debilitating condition, and one
level of exhaustion (if any) is removed from
you. You choose which condition is lifted at
what time.
If you remain in the tree for the duration, you
are returned to your hit point maximum, and
all negative effects are removed from you.
The tree grants you total cover and
concealment, and you gain immunity to all
effects from extreme temperatures and
environmental conditions.
Minor damage to the tree does no harm to you.
If the volume of the tree is reduced to the
extent you can no longer fit within it, you are
magically expelled from it and take 5d6 psychic
damage. If the tree is totally destroyed, you are
expelled from the tree and instantly slain
unless you make a successful DC 15
Constitution saving throw.
