Automata

The Automata are artificial slaves created by the fallen Aurelian Empire. These fully sentient magic constructs were endowed with life by an ancient, highly advanced civilization for use as slaves, cannon fodder, and for various niche purposes. Being machines, they do not age, allowing many to survive to present times, often by being hidden in stasis for thousands of years.

  • You are immune to disease.
  • You don't need to sleep, and magic can't put you to sleep.

Integrated Protection

Your body has built-in defensive layers, which can be enhanced with armor:
  • You gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class.

  • While you live, your armor can't be removed from your body against your will.
