Darkvision: Accustomed to the darkness of the Plane of Shadows, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Infernal Legacy: You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Hellish Rebuke spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells. Shadowflame Affinity: You have resistance to fire damage. In addition, when you deal fire damage, you can choose to deal half of that damage as necrotic damage instead. For example, if you deal 10 fire damage, you can choose to deal 5 fire damage and 5 necrotic damage instead. Shadow Step: Starting at 3rd level, as a bonus action, you can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is in dim light or darkness. After you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
