Level 1: Grim Harvest
  • Weapon Proficiency: You are proficient with the scythe, a unique martial weapon that deals 1d10 slashing damage and has the finesse, reach, and special properties. The special property allows you to make a sweeping attack against two adjacent targets within reach.
  • Scythe Combat: When wielding a scythe, you can use your Dexterity instead of Strength for attack and damage rolls.
  • Grim Determination: When you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points, you can choose to regain hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1). You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses after a long rest.
Level 2: Harvest Dance
  • Two-Weapon Fighting: You can use your Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your off-hand attack.
  • Reaper’s Movement: Your movement speed increases by 10 feet. Additionally, you can use a bonus action to move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Level 3: Reaper Archetype
  • Choose an archetype that embodies your reaper style: Soul Harvester or Death’s Embrace, detailed below.
Level 4: Ability Score Improvement
  • ASI: Increase one ability score by 2 or two ability scores by 1 each, or take a feat.
Level 5: Extra Attack
  • Extra Attack: You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Level 6: Grim Resilience
  • Grim Resilience: Whenever you make a saving throw against being frightened or charmed, you can add your Constitution modifier to the roll.
Level 7: Swift Reaping
  • Swift Reaping: Once per turn, when you hit with a melee attack, you can move up to 10 feet immediately after the attack without provoking opportunity attacks.
Level 8: Ability Score Improvement
  • ASI: Increase one ability score by 2 or two ability scores by 1 each, or take a feat.
Level 9: Death’s Grace
  • Death’s Grace: You gain proficiency in Dexterity saving throws. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency in Intelligence saving throws instead.
Level 10: Grim Harvest Improvement
  • Grim Harvest Improvement: When you use your Grim Determination feature, you also gain temporary hit points equal to your level.
Level 11: Reaper’s Fury
  • Reaper’s Fury: You can add your Constitution modifier to the damage of your melee weapon attacks.
Level 12: Ability Score Improvement
  • ASI: Increase one ability score by 2 or two ability scores by 1 each, or take a feat.
Level 13: Untouchable
  • Untouchable: If you take damage that reduces you to 0 hit points and doesn’t kill you outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can use this feature once per long rest.
Level 14: Scythe Mastery
  • Scythe Mastery: Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any attack roll you make with a scythe.
Level 15: Grim Resilience Improvement
  • Grim Resilience Improvement: You gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed.
Level 16: Ability Score Improvement
  • ASI: Increase one ability score by 2 or two ability scores by 1 each, or take a feat.
Level 17: Reaper’s Shadow
  • Reaper’s Shadow: You gain the ability to cast the spell Shadow of Moil without using a spell slot once per long rest.
Level 18: Death’s Reprisal
  • Death’s Reprisal: When you use your Grim Determination feature, your next attack within 1 minute deals an additional 2d10 necrotic damage.
Level 19: Ability Score Improvement
  • ASI: Increase one ability score by 2 or two ability scores by 1 each, or take a feat.
Level 20: Avatar of the Reaper
  • Avatar of the Reaper: You can use your Grim Determination feature an unlimited number of times. Additionally, when you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points, you can move up to your speed and make one melee weapon attack as a reaction.

Soul Harvester The Soul Harvester archetype focuses on siphoning life force and manipulating necrotic energy.   Level 3: Soul Drain
  • When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage and regain hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses after a long rest.
Level 7: Wraith Step
  • As a bonus action, you can become ethereal until the end of your turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses after a long rest.
Level 11: Soul Surge
  • When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, your next attack within 1 minute deals an additional 2d8 necrotic damage.
Level 15: Reaper’s Shroud
  • You gain resistance to necrotic damage. Additionally, when you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can choose to become incorporeal and regain hit points equal to half your maximum hit points. You can use this feature once per long rest.
  Death’s Embrace   The Death’s Embrace archetype emphasizes physical endurance and brutal close combat.     Level 3: Reaper’s Endurance
  • When you take damage, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d12 + your Constitution modifier. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses after a long rest.
Level 7: Iron Stamina
  • You have advantage on saving throws against exhaustion and poison. Additionally, you can add your Constitution modifier to any Constitution saving throw you make.
Level 11: Unyielding
  • When you are subjected to an effect that would move you against your will or knock you prone, you can use your reaction to negate the effect.
Level 15: Death Defiance
  • When you use your Grim Determination feature, you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your Constitution modifier.
