Augurfolk
The Augurfolk inhabit Giulia in the northern deserts of Omrik and Alrik, but can also be found in other cultures having integrated with other nations. They are considered by some as barbaric, but other consider them noble and proud. Their main cultural identity is that of the Arkalli that inhabit Alrik. The Alkari are somewhat nomadic, having being driven from their homelands in northern Omrik, but have settled in cities and towns around Alrik. They are a powerful force to be reckoned with and resolutely loyal.

The Augurfolk live a moderately long life for the species in Olivia, reaching about 100 years of age before passing. They are quick to grow, and reach adulthood at 13 years.

The Augurfolk are dark-skinned with dark black hair. They usually stand between 7 and 8 feet tall.
They are driven by family, duty, and home - in Alrik, the Arkalli are in an uneasy alliance with Alrik, and the Queen of the Arkalli swears fealty to the Alriccan crown. They follow a matriarchal society, with military duties often being relegated to the women, and men being homesteaders and gatherers. They are incredibly proud and have many traditions and manner practises to indicate politeness. There have been many cases of a mispoken word or a incorrect gesture being made and the Arkalli being made an enemy of the people.
