Alter Corpse
1-level Necromancy
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range/Area: Touch
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous
You channel necromantic forces to alter a corpse or willing undead. Choose one of the following options:
Decompose. The flesh of the corpse or undead rapidly withers and decomposes leaving only a clean skeleton. This can turn a zombie into a skeleton.
Restore. An intact skeleton or decomposing corpse rapidly regrows flesh until it looks as it did before it died, albeit with an unhealthy pallor. The new flesh has a rotten taste and is not fit for consumption. If cast on an undead, this can turn a skeleton into a zombie.
Sculpt. You reshape a dead body or willing undead to look like another creature. This can even replicate a specific person you have seen. You can change height, weight, facial features, hair length, coloration, and distinguishing characteristics. You can change apparent race, but not basic shape or size. As an Action, creatures that view the corpse can make a Wisdom (medicine) check against your save DC to determine the corpse has been altered.
At higher levels: If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd-level or higher, you can affect an additional target per slot level above 1st.
