Twinned souls with the Arcanist class specialise in offensive magic aligned with their elemental affinity. They provide great support for identifying all things arcane and can embue their players weapon with their elemental affinity.

At 1st level, you know one cantrip of your choice from the 3 schools Evocation, Necromancy and Transmutation. You learn additional Arcanist cantrips of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the Cantrips Known column of the Arcanist table.
Spell Slots
The Arcanist table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your arcanist spells of 1st level and higher You can only cast spells matching your elemental affinity. To cast one of these arcanist spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spell burning hands and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast burning hands using either slot.
Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher
You know two 1st-level spells of your choice from the these 3 schools; Evocation, Necromancy and Transmutation.
The Spells Known column of the arcanist table shows when you learn more arcanist spells of your choice you can only learn damaging spells that match at least one of your elemental affinities. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 3rd level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.
Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the Arcanist spells you know and replace it with another spell from one of the 3 schools; Evocation, Necromancy and Transmutation, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
Spellcasting Ability
Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for your arcanist spells, since the power of your magic relies on your ability to project your will into the world. You use your Intelligence whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Intelligence modifier when setting the saving throw DC for an arcanist spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier

Twinned Transfer
Starting at 2nd Level your player character can cast their spells through you using one of their spells slots.
From 6th Level your twinned souls can cast spells through the player character.
From 13th Level your twinned soul and player character can use each others spell slots to cast spells.
Elemental Bond
Starting at 3rd level you can transfer your elemental type to empower your player character. Using your reaction add 1d6 of an element your twin soul has to their attack rolls.
At 5th level make it 2d6 and 11th level 3d6 and 15th level 4d6.
Soul Charge
Starting at 14th Level you can regain a used spell slot of your choice once per short rest.
At 20th level you can regain 2 spell slots of your choice per short rest.
