2-level Conjuration

Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range/Area: Touch
Components: Verbal, Somatic
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

You summon a blade of blood. The weapon takes the form of a sword (with the statistics of a longsword, 1d8 slashing damage, versatile (1d10)) with a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. You are considered proficient with the weapon, and it is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance. You may use your spell casting modifier instead of Strength for your attack and damage rolls. The weapon has a special ability called Sanguine Expense. Sanguine Expense. When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can sacrifice a hit die. If you do, roll the expended die, and the target takes additional damage equal to the roll.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +2 and you may expend up to two hit dice when using Sanguine Expense. When you use a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the bonus increases to +3 and up to three hit die when using Sanguine Expense.
