Banshee

A banshee, a spectral entity bound to the ethereal plane, is an otherworldly being that exudes an air of sorrow and tragedy. Its form, though once perhaps humanoid, is now a manifestation of anguish and unresolved emotions. The banshee is often surrounded by a faint, eerie glow, its visage distorted by the weight of the sorrows it carries.

Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Ethereal Resistance: You have resistance to necrotic damage.   Wail: As an action, you can unleash a mournful wail. All creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you that can hear you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus) or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.   Ethereal Movement: You can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. You take 1d10 force damage if you end your turn inside an object.
Tattered, ethereal robes drape around the banshee, billowing as if caught in an unseen wind. Its eyes, pools of empty darkness, are windows to the haunting depths of its spirit. Long, flowing hair, as pale as moonlight, frames its face, adding to the otherworldly beauty that contrasts with the melancholy that pervades its presence.   The banshee moves with an ethereal grace, its steps leaving no trace on the ground. When it speaks, its voice echoes hauntingly, carrying a mournful melody that sends shivers down the spines of those who hear it. The banshee's wail, a supernatural expression of its pain, can strike fear into the hearts of even the bravest souls, a reminder of the tragedy that binds it to the material plane.   Though its countenance is one of sorrow, a banshee is not inherently malevolent. Instead, it is a creature of fate and purpose, tethered to the mortal realm until its unresolved past is set right. To encounter a banshee is to witness a specter of the past, a being that beckons the living to understand the weight of its unfulfilled destiny.
