You carry a direct spiritual connection with the Shadowfell and the Void within it, granting you the following benefits:  

• You have Darkvision with a range of 90 feet.
• You learn the spell Darkness. Once per long rest, you can cast Darkness without expending a spell slot. When cast in this manner, you and other Shadowkin can see through the darkness created by the spell.
• When you make a ranged spell attack, you can channel the Shadow energy within you to change the damage type to Necrotic.
