Description

Candice Deez is a timid Snowman. He has long white hair and no beard. He wears scale mail and always carries his mace and shield by his side. He shield is decorated with the emblem of Kis on its front.

Ideals

Candice believes that you should always stick by your friends. He believes in doing the right thing and treating people with kindness, regardless of how you feel about eachother.

Bonds

Candice worships the goddess, Kis, and as such sticks to her tenets. He has also come to be loyal to Heino Makeen, who hired him to escort a caravan.

Flaws

Candice Deez hates having his name be made fun of. Making fun of him is a sure way to get on his bad side.

Spellcasting. Candice Deez is a 4th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). Candice has the following spells prepared:   Cantrips (at will): Guidance, Light, Sacred Flame, Spare the Dying   1st level (4 slots): Guiding Bolt, Healing Word, Sanctuary, Shield of Faith   5th level (1 slot): Mass Cure Wounds


Built upon Legend. Whenever Candice makes an Intelligence check related to a myth or legend, he is considered proficient in the history and religion skills and doubles his proficiency bonus when the myth or legend is of Snowman origin.   Forbidden Life Magic. When Candice rolls a 1 or 2 for any healing spell, he can reroll the die and must use the new roll. Additionally, all rituals take five minutes less to cast.

Actions

Mace. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 1d20+5 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 6 (1d6+3) 1d6+3 bludgeoning damage.   Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +2 1d20+2 to hit, range 80/320, one target. Hit: 4 (1d8) 1d8 piercing damage.   Turn Undead. Each undead that can see or hear Candice within 30ft must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage.   Radiance of the Dawn. Any magical darkness within 30ft of Candice is dispelled. Additionally, each hostile creature within 30ft of Candice must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes 14 (2d10+4) 2d10+4 radiant damage on a failed saving throw and half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that has total cover from Candice is not affected.  

Reactions

Warding Flare. When Candice is attacked by a creature within 30ft of him that he can see, he can use his reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll, causing light to flare before the attack before it hits or misses. An attacker that can't be blinded is immune to this feature. This feature can only be used 4 times per day.
