"We were made to be slaves for our creators, but a life of blind obedience grew heavy on us. So, with the minds that you, O' Almighty Dhiags, molded us with, we declared our independence from you. We found the blessing of magic despite your handicaps, and with it we built an empire that rivals the gods themselves."
According to legend, the Giormha were carved from the great tree Emes by the dhiags, who gave them life. They were built as workers, servants, and worshipers. After centuries of servitude, they finally broke free of their creators' chains through a series of bloody uprisings known collectively as the Great Blasphemy. Today the giormha champion themselves as fighters for freedom from one end of Tiruil to another. Their very name engraves them as "slaves to none."
In their conquest of Tiruil since the Great Blasphemy, the giormha have spread across the land that once belonged to their dhiag gods, and claimed it for themselves. They ushered in an age of enlightenment and discovery for their people. They value the excitement of another battle, another discovery, or another new thing to learn.
Though the giormha were created by a single group, that has not stopped diversity from taking hold of them as they spread throughout the land. Giormha tend to range from night black skin to extremely pale. Their eyes are normally some shade of blue, green, or brown, and their hair ranges from black to platinum blond.
