Kyre

Kyre are the oldest subrace of the helios (which describes all races of man with naturalistic animal features such as tabaxi or firbolg et cetera) and share physical traits with birds. Unlike aarakocra and kenku, these people have all kinds of different bird traits; whether that is a beak, neck or arm feathers, claws or a feather tail or anything similar is up to chance. However, all kyre have natural wings which store their inborn mana and make sorcerers very common among them. If a kyre loses their wings, they lose their inborn magical abilities with them.
Anolyth first created the kyre to watch the skies and evolve magic. Their human traits are more vibrant than those of regular humans, which often makes their eyes and hair seem unnervingly brightly colored to others. Their feathers come in all shapes and colors.
ability score increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
age: Kyre grow up quickly and reach the stage of adulthood at about 10 years but they also live up to five times as long as humans.
alignment: A kyre's orientation can range from chaotic evil to lawful good, though most kyre tend to distance themselves from a chaotic nature.

speed: Your base walking speed is 35, your flying speed is 40.
Languages: You can speak, read and write Common, Heli and two other languages of your choice. Heli is the language that has been established in all Helios tribes.

Mana Glow. Because kyre do not have darkvision, they often use the mana in their wings to cause them to glow but you cannot cast spells while this effect is active.   Divine Heritage. You can pick one cantrip and one first level spell from the sorcerer spell list with Intelligence as your modifier.   Eyes of a Phoenix. You are proficient in arcana checks.   Force of the Skies. Naturally, you are able to push a target in personal range back up to 10 feet with a mighty push of air from your wings.
