spellcasting:
you cast spells via "focus Points" instead of spell slots. every focus point equals 1 level one spell slot. for example you could cast 4 cantrips spells with four focus points, or you can cast one level 4 spell with 4 focus points. YOU CANNOT TRANSFER FOCUS POINTS INTO SORCER POINTS, OR VICE VERSA. you gain focus points for killing enemies through special attacks. every non magic enemy you kill with certain spells you cast will get you 1 focus. you focus is capped equal to your level /3 +2(minimum 2 at first level). for casting you modifier is INT. out of combat you can meditate for two hours and during each hour you may either gain 1 charge or focus on learning another spell.

as for your leveled spells, you may pick 2 level 1 wizard spells and 2 druid spells to add to your runes.
your runes work similar to a spellbook, but instead of costing gold to learn new spells, you must meditate (short rest) daily for a week per spell level to learn new spells.

UPGRADE APRENTICE CASTINGS:
When you reach 3rd level you may upgrade one of your apprentice castings. this can stack with your styled apprentice cast. when you upgrade one of your castings, pick from the following:
Overcharge: if you don't kill on a rend attack, roll a D3 and on a 3 you gain 1 focus.
Defensive Position: Psionic Buckler now gets +1 AC and can be cast on any action
Scorching Amplify: Psionic Amplify now deals 1d4 psionic dmg on the start of every turn
Speedy Javelin: Psionic Javelin now has a range of 120, and the cone is increased to 25 ft
NOVICE CASTINGS:
when you reach 5th level, you may pick up two new cantrips and also gain one of the following
Psionic barrier: you use 1 charge to get half cover, 2 charges for 3/4 cover, and 3 charges for full cover
Charging Volt: Volt now grants charges

The style of gust use their psionic energies to move as quick as lightning and as silent as fog. when you choose this subclass, you gain the following styled castings:

you may also choose one of the following for a styled upgrade:
Gusty Charge: rend now deals 1d4 psionic and STR piercing dmg, but gains 1 piercing dmg per 10 ft moved and 1d4 psionic per 15 ft moved to a max of 5d4 psionic and str +7 piercing
Windy armor: psionic buckler now has - 1 AC and 2d4 Temp. HP, but now grants 15 ft of movement on cast.
Foggy Amplify: the target is now unaware of being targeted, last of two more hours, applies 1d8 for the next attack
Windchill Javelin, the Javelin now does 2d4 psionic and + 2 piercing, if the attack was made from stealth, add 1d6 cold and 2 piercing, the cone is increased by +10 but is 15 degrees thinner
Once you reach level 5, a style of gust Psion gets a additional move action.

Echoing Charges: whenever you use a charge or otherwise evaporates, you gain 5 points that you can use for the following castings:

Minor Psionic Ward
you may also get the following style upgrade:
Sturdy Rend: If you did not move the previous turn, your rend has a range of 10 Ft. and gets additional 5 feet per 2 charges. it also gets 1d4 slashing and 1d4 psionic if you didn't move the previous turn.
Warding Aura: Psionic Buckler now gives 2 AC to every ally (including you) within 25 ft. it also gives 1d4 healing (or temporary HP if target is full HP) to those same targets
Scathing Amplify: Psionic amplify also treats the attacks as if the target has weakness to them. but no longer deals bonus damage and lasts for 1 less attack.
Thunderous Javelin: it now has a range of 60 ft but can return to you for the cost of a bonus action or a reaction.
when you reach level 5 you get one additional reaction as you steady yourself against your foes

The style of tempest focuses on turning psionic powers into the elements
when you choose this style, you gain the following abilities:
when casting a spell, you may choose to spend another psionic charge to change the damage to either psionic or lightning
if you damage an enemy with either lightning or psionic damage (without the above ability) , you may spend a charge to bypass any immunities or resistances
your charge bar increases by +2 every time it would increase by +1 (this includes this level)
you may pick one of the following upgraded castings:
Siphoning rend: rend now can get 2 focus charges from killing magic creatures, and also always gets 1 from attacking magic creatures.
Intellectual Chassis: psionic buckler now gives you +1d4 temp HP and 2+ your INT modifier
Weakening Amplify: the target now is weak to all of your spells for the same number of turns that the attacks that are effected.
Charged Javelin: javelin now can generate focus, and always rolls for overcharge.
when you get fifth level in this class, pick either psionic or lightning; the damage you selected is now multiplied by 1.5 at all times.
