Session 26: The Blackwood Redux Report

General Summary

Thirteen gets a warning from Prisoner Thirteen that the mind flayers seek subjects to determine the origin of sorcerous power.

Sly Spenser tells D'Wat that he has come into possession of a book about his ancestor, Beast. D'Wat barters for the book and opens it. Inside is a corrupted acorn from the Great Oak.

They are attacked by a coven of hags who have been sent to take the book. They defeat them and head into Faerie to convert the Great Oak back into a living tree.

On their entry into the corrupted realm, they are attacked by a group of vampires who seek the corrupted acorn. After a hard fight, they head towards the Court of Styren.

They arrive at the Court and run a gauntlet of vampires and dark treants. They fight another hard battle. Thirteen is downed and defeat is upon them. Fortunately, Oyxuysi Oyxuys is able to get to the Great Oak and cast the third spell needed to save the tree and remove the undead corruption.
