It's been a long day. Let's start with the composition of our party.

Shreekback had to leave for a time, but he's returned! He says that he has a quest of his own that conviniently lines up with our own for the time being, so we'll be travelling to the Pyramid of Yushrif together. His quest is to kill, or at least punish, a lizardfolk man by the name of Otzic. I am not okay with killing this Otzic, but hopefully we can work out a way to avoid that. Otzic does have a way with disappearing it would seem. Vanished right in front of my eyes, a lot like how Shreekback does with his cape. Seems they have a history.

Adriel has been away from the party around since Oh, it seems I already wrote that part. A few pages back.

Lodak is still around.

Lars was kept as a hostage by Aul Eiraf, the Soothsayer, for a time, and now he's hanging out with Szhezeyil. Szhezeyil seems like he's doing a bit better.

We have one new addition to our party: Torina the monk! What strikes me about Torina is that she is incredibly stealthy, despite the fact that she's perhaps twice the size of Lodak. Torina's a centaur! How does she sneak about so well?

Shreekback has lost his tail since we've last seen him, and he seems a bit more scuffed than then too. His clothes are cleaned and his body washed, but both display wear and tear. His spirit still seems well enough.

About today, we waited outside Klag Jr.'s farm until nightfall, then began our invasion of privacy. I kept watch. O Mai infiltrated Klag's house to investigate. Did I mention O Mai? He's a flying cat with wings. He's a tressym! And the familiar of Lodak. I think that means he can see through O Mai's eyes?

One thing lead to another, Torina stormed in and bashed innocent heads, knocking Klag's employees unconscious, and eventually I went in there myself. The scene before me was knocked-out kenku, a broken-open secret door, some stairs down, and then I found Torina, Klag, Otzic, and a scared-to-death kenku. Not literally to-death. They were cowering in fear on the floor. Poor guy.

As it turned out, Klag was being blackmailed by Otzic. Klag was keeping Aul Eiraf's three children and husband captive, taking their shell for ingredients. He cut off their stingers, and overall it's a bad time. Otzic escaped with no more than cat scratches (thanks O Mai!), and Lodak brought the authorities over to assess the situation and deal with the aftermath. Aul Eiraf paid a visit as well. She thanked us for saving her family, took her family back with her, and just about freed Shanty-Shoes from service. All Shanty-Shoes has to do is guide us to the Pyramid of Yushrif and she'll be free!

More immediate, we have a little bit of jail time. I'm surprised, it's only for a few days! I've got four days incarceration. I don't know about the rest, but I heard that we should all be done within 5 days. Not bad for breaking and entering, assault, investigation without warrant, and whatever else we did! Klag wasn't as lucky. He'll be locked up for years, then have community service for a few years after that.
