West Coast of Havborg
As the morning fog lifted from the banks of Triget, the residents were greeted by the sight of several dozen Northern Alliance warships readying their arms. By the time the alarm had been raised, the first few buildings had already been decimated. The population could only watch as volleys of blazing arrows arched over their heads and pierced the wooden buildings, overshadowing the smell of dew from the mountains with a horrible smell of burning timber. Next, came the ballistae. Towering spears soared over the shore, rooting themselves in any buildings left standing. From their ships, the Northern Alliance could hear the desperate cries of Triget,
Barely thirty minutes after the alarm had been raised, Triget had been reduced to smouldering wreck of wood and stone, littered with arrows, boulders, and corpses.
Almost 40 minutes later, as the Northern Alliance were pulling out from the coast, Insoan reinforcements moved in from the fog banks in the north. The Northern Alliance forces were decimated, swiftly and decisively, to the cheers of the surviving Trigetens. Triget was never reinhabited, and quickly fell into decrepitude.
