A strange, deformed creature that is shaped like a humanoid, but has many qualities of the fish in the deep sea. They have large, bulbous eyes, gaping mouths filled with sharp teeth, and webbed hands and feet. Grotesque gill slits on both sides of their neck allow them to breathe effectively underwater. Their flesh is a pale, almost translucent green, like algae found in shallow ponds.
For the most part, they prefer to remain in the endless, churning waters of the Nethersea, but have known to rise at the behest of their masters. They are rarely found on the Material Plane except when under the command of another, and tribes of them have not been seen since the conclusion of the War of Whispers.
