The Tome of the Inquisitive will not open for any creature with an INT score lower than 15. Once during a long rest, you may use this tome to research any topic that is not a well kept secret (up to the DM's discresion). Make your topic of interest known to the tome and then make an INT investigation check. Your result determines the amount of lore you learn about the topic. 5 or less= You learn nothing. 6-10= You learn 1 piece of lore. 11-20= You learn 2 pieces of lore. 21 or higher= You learn 3 pieces of lore. If you roll a natural 1 the tome seels itself and can't be used for the current and next long rest, and if you roll a natural 20 you may have one of the pieces of lore you learn be a secret piece of lore about the topic if possible. Once per long rest each, you may cast 'Legend Lore' 'Identify' and 'Scrying' from this tome without any material componentes (DC = to your Spellcasting DC or 15, whichever is higher).A large worn leather bound tome with a cast iron lock on it. Pages seem to be sticking out the sides of the tome, some oversized and folded, and others aged, worn, and discolored from other pages. Opening this tome without a topic in mind will show all of the pages as blank and endless. Opening this tome with a topic in mind opens to pages in libraries written about the specific topic, and the same for the targets of Legend Lore and Identify. Casting Scrying makes the pages become a collection of sketches of the target creature or location in real time that quickly flip by as if each page is a frame in a flip book, or as a pop-up book of the location (whichever works best).
