Special Maneuvers
Overpressured Shot: Using a bonus action, increase your next attack's armor piercing properties to ignore up to 2 grades of armor and add the pinning effect without the HP requirements, but fires only one shot, dealing 1d10 damage. This doubles the range of the pinning distance to 60 feet and the projectile's effective range goes up to 60 feet and 120 feet for long range. Crit fails while using this feature immediately cause the weapon to jam. An overpressured shot will alert enemies within 60 feet.
Precision Shooting - hold the weapon with both hands to increase chance to hit, +7 to hit as an attack (must be held with both hands, no offhand)
Rapid Shooting - If matching weapons are dual-wielded, fire two bursts instead of one with a -8 to hit as an attack. This maneuver can only be performed once per turn.
Trickshot - Designate a specific body part to hit as an attack and deal specific conditions to the target (must be held with both hands, no offhand)
Torso: The target must make a Constitution Saving Throw against a DC13 or be dazed
Arms: You impose disadvantage on all attacks made by the target until the start of your next turn
Legs: You hamstring an opponent and reduce their by half until the start of your next turn
Special Properties
Armor Piercing: When rolling damage, the damage mitigations of enemy armor are reduced by 1. If the damage roll does not exceed the armor reduction, deals a minimum of 1 guaranteed damage.
Stealthy: Firing this weapon does not alert enemies and can be used for sneak attacks.
Pinning: If more than half the target's remaining HP damage is dealt in a single attack, the target is pinned to a vertical surface up to 30 feet away and takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet the target was pushed back. The creature must be medium or smaller for this effect to work. If no vertical surface is available, the target is pushed up to 30 feet away from you in a line. If pinned to a surface, the target will be unable to move until the start of your next turn.
Loading: Uses a bonus action to fast reload (involves dropping the magazine to pick up later), requires a full action to reload
Jamming: On a critical failure, roll a 1D10, if it lands on a 1, the weapon is jammed and requires a bonus action (D&D5E) or an action point (PF2E) to clear the jam
Handling: 1-handed
The Drakaan-manufactured DC-2-01 is capable of launching one of the most powerful projectiles out of any sidearm, but it is fairly limited in range. Drakaan compressors are a stealthy weapon class that operates off of electric motors to pressurize internal chambers with air or other gases to launch the weapon at fairly high, but subsonic velocities. They were at one point modified construction equipment that were used in workers' uprisings against the oppressive Progenitors in the Drakaan's original plane of existence. The compressors used by the Drakaan on Dunia are strictly built as weapons of war, however, especially to combat the larger, more dangerous fauna and mutated monsters that rove the wastes.
