Melee, Weapon, Martial, Light, Finesse, One-Handed, Versatile (d8/d10) Slightly curved, this single edged sword is one of a kind. Its golden accents gleam at you like a hawk from the sky, ready to cut you down. All movements depend on your proficiency with this weapon. Without proficiency, they cannot be performed. First Movement - Strike down. As your attack action you can make an attack that ignores the target's resistance to slashing damage. Add 1d6 slashing damage to the damage roll for this attack. You can use this feature in accordance with your proficiency modifier per short rest. You accumulate one stack of golden strikes. Second Movement - Golden Wave. As a reaction you can deflect any damage from an attack or area of effect. Reduce the incoming damage by 1d4 per your proficiency modifier. You can use this feature in accordance with your proficiency modifier per short rest. So with a proficiency modifier of 2 you can reduce the damage by 2d4 two times. You accumulate one stack of golden strikes. Third Movement - Hunting Dive. As a bonus action you raise the Golden Hawk up into the sky. With this movement, you can give the next attack you perform with your katana until the end of your turn advantage. You can use this feature in accordance with your proficiency modifier per short rest. You accumulate one stack of golden strikes. Fourth Movement - Golden Flash. As you attack action, you dash behind an enemy within a range of six meters in a straight line from your current position. The movement is independent of your usual movement pool. If the target is nearer than six meters, you can choose to still move to the maximum of seven meters. Add one d4 to the attack roll and damage roll per stack of golden strikes accumulated since the battle started. You lose all stacks of golden strikes.
