Needs an action to be reloaded after every shot. (This can be done by someone other than the person firing the weapon)
Anchoring :
On Hit if a target is in the air it has to succeed on a DC: 10 Str check or fall to the ground. If this succeeds it takes an additional 2d4 bludgeoning damage in addition to the normal fall damage. If on the ground it needs to succedd on this check to take flight but does not take damage on a failure.
Successive Restraint:
Each bolt embedded in the target beyond the first raises the DC by 5. Bolts do not get removed by a targets success and require an action to remove. With 3 or more bolts a target creature is Restrained until they are removed.
A miniaturized seige Ballista capable of firing large bolts trailing cables to anchor a beast to the ground and prevent it from flying.
