Abilities
When a creature makes a melee attack against you and misses, you can use your reaction to attempt to disarm the target, forcing it to drop one item of your choice that it’s holding. The attacker must make a strength saving throw against a DC of 8 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier, whichever is higher. On a failed save, it drops the object you choose. The object lands at its feet.
At Higher Levels:
At level 5 you may add your proficiency bonus to the DC. At level 12 you may attempt to disarm successful attacks as well.
Description
A trident parrying dagger, designed to be dual-wielded with a companion single-handed weapon. Zanna was custom made
en suite to the side sword passed on to Lee by his mentor, Adalbert. At 19in and just around a pound, it is relatively long and heavy for a dagger. The trident dagger's blade is divided lengthwise into three parts which fold together to resemble a conventional blade. When a mechanism near the hilt is released, the two side blades open under spring pressure to form the "trident", flying apart until they are stopped by the ends of the curved quillons. This three-pronged form is capable of trapping blades securely and easily.
Like Adalbert's side sword, Zanna's hilt is ornately decorated, though much smaller. The knuckleguard is relatively simple. The quillons are formed into small snake heads with their mouths open, which catch the two side blades when they open.
