This Pair of ich silk gloves are guareded by an enchanted mithral shell that sporadically realeases arcane power. You can use the guantlets as a spellcasting focus while wearing them, and when you cast a spell 1st-5th level, you can choose to roll a d6. If you roll equal to or greater than the spells level, the spell draws on the magic within the guantlets, instead of your own, and is cast without expending spell points. The spell must be of a level you can normally cast. The guantlets can provide up to 5 uses in this way each day.
  If the number rolled is less than the spell's level, you can cast the spell as normal, expending your spell points to cast the spell. If you dont have the points, the spell fails and a use is expended from the gauntlets.
