Storm Breaker

Weapon

Legendary

Storm Breaker is a legendary weapon which grants extra lightning damage as well as dealing more damage than a normal spear. When thrown the spear will return to the user's hand.
Any attempt by someone other than the attuned user to wield Storm Breaker will result in 10d20 lightning damage being dealt to whoever attempts to wield it.
Every 2nd level Storm Breaker will gain an additional damage dice to its base attacks.

Extra Abilities:

  Lightning Strike
This ability can be used three times per day. It will gain an additional use and 1d6 of damage every 2nd level.
The spear can be thrown and will strike an enemy with the force of a lightning strike. The attack is very similar in effect to the spell Lightning Bolt.
A stroke of lightning forming a line 300 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from you in a direction you choose as the spear is thrown. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 8d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The lightning ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.   Storm's Rebuke
This ability can be used three times per day. It will gain an additional use every 2nd level. It will gain an additional 1d12 of damage every 4th level.
You point your spear, lightning crackles above whatever creature that damaged you to strike them down. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. It takes 3d12 Lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.   Divine Fury
This ability can be used once per day. It will gain an additional use every 5th level.
This attack invokes the spell Storm of Vengeance.
A churning storm cloud forms, centered on a point you can see and spreading to a radius of 360 feet. Lightning flashes in the area, thunder booms, and strong winds roar. Each creature under the cloud (no more than 5,000 feet beneath the cloud) when it appears must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d6 thunder damage and becomes deafened for 5 minutes.
Each round you maintain concentration on this spell, the storm produces different effects on your turn.
Round 2. Acidic rain falls from the cloud. Each creature and object under the cloud takes 1d6 acid damage.
Round 3. You call six bolts of lightning from the cloud to strike six creatures or objects of your choice beneath the cloud. A given creature or object can't be struck by more than one bolt. A struck creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. The creature takes 10d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Round 4. Hailstones rain down from the cloud. Each creature under the cloud takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage.
Round 5–10. Gusts and freezing rain assail the area under the cloud. The area becomes difficult terrain and is heavily obscured. Each creature there takes 1d6 cold damage. Ranged weapon attacks in the area are impossible. The wind and rain count as a severe distraction for the purposes of maintaining concentration on spells. Finally, gusts of strong wind (ranging from 20 to 50 miles per hour) automatically disperse fog, mists, and similar phenomena in the area, whether mundane or magical.

The abyss has granted you a gift. The Storm Breaker brings the fury of the storms to your hand.
