Rings of Communication come in pairs, with each ring carved to match the other so the pairing is easily recognized. While you touch the ring's gem, you can use an action to cast the sending spell from it. The target is the bearer of the other ring. If no creature bears the other stone, you know that fact as soon as you use the ring.   Each ring has a maximum of 3d4 contact charges with a minimum of 6. After every long rest, the user can roll to regain communication charges at a rate of 1d6.   Each ring can be paired to a maximum of 4 rings. However, only the primary pair is able to be used as a bonus action. Calling a non-primary ring will result in an action being required to use.   If one of the rings in the primary pair is destroyed, the other one becomes nonmagical, and a feeling of dread falls over the wearer of the remaining ring.
