Ravkin stand on four legs between 6 to 8 feet high with two arms and 10 segmented fingers. Their exoskeleton coloring tends to be black, or various shades of blue, and very occasionally red. Their armor is generally somewhat soft to allow flexibility but they are able to use a chemical release to temporarily harden it in moments of danger. Their large eyes work well both in dark and light. A set of mandibles sit close to their mouth mostly for digging and stability when carrying large objects. They have antennae used for the detection of pheromones, meaning they can communicate in a basic way without the need for speech. However, Zemiya also granted them the faculties necessary to vocalize, allowing them to communicate more complex ideas audibly, as well as to speak other languages.
