Hartshome Forest
The forest of Hartshome shelters in a valley between the Ironspike Mountains and Silver Range Mountains. These natural boundaries have protected the Kingdom of Amredhel for millenia.
The Forest cradles the elven city of Eladriel and is one of the ancient homelands of the elven people. It is a sprawling expanse of enchanted woodlands where the trees and glades pulse with the magic of nature. The whispering breezes are alive with the living breathing voices of the Forest itself.
The Silver Hart
The forest is named for the famous Silver Harts that embody the spirit of the forest and the cycle of life and death. Their glowing coats and silver antlers are connected to the natural magic of the forest.
The annual Feast of Last Shadows begins with the Hunt for the Silver Hart. The Royal Court of Ash marks a stag for the hunt and rewards those who bring it to the Feast with magical rewards.
Taur na Cair
In the deepest darkest heart of the forest, a colossal grove of ancient trees serves as the spiritual center of elven society. Here clippings from the ancient spacecraft of the elven people grow into new skyships.
Ancient Standing Stones
Weathered rune covered stones stand in certain clearings that dot the forest. These remnants of prehistoric rituals sometimes open portals to Faerie. Some sages theorize that the magic of the stones sustains the Forest and the elves themselves.
Mistveil Lake
The serene waters of this mirror-like lake are surrounded by willow trees who's branches dip into the water. The surface is often shrouded in mists. The tranquil waters serve as a place of reflection and introspection for the citizens of Amredhel.
