Description

Gearhak "Fearlesscook" Uganiala is a goliath of the "Máni Tribe", so named because they worship the goddess of the same name, which is the spirit of the moon which also shares the name. To them, and many others, the moon and their goddess are the same being and they are indeed fortunate, as their goddess appears to them every night. Fearlesscook was a skilled hunter and cook for his tribe until the fateful night when the Máni tribe performed a sacred ritual to contact the realm that is their god; the surface of Máni. When the ritual was performed, it opened a portal to the surface of the moon, releasing many creatures native to that strange and holy place and scattering them all over the Goliath Mountains. Once such creature was a being of pure evil; a deceiver and false goddess, the self-proclaimed "Frethig the Fair". She knew the holy signs and rituals of the Máni religion and persuaded many of the young tribesmen and tribeswomen from all of the goliath tribes to join her in a new tribe, dedicated to her worship. Unfortunately, misguided and naive as he was, Fearlesscook was one of those who fell prey to her cruel wiles. Fortunately, before too much harm was done, a bold band of adventurers, led by the prophet "Nox Spectre", dubbed "Bringer of Truth" invaded the cave that was their false home, revealed the traitorous witch for the mountebank she was and, in doing so, reveals his quasi-divinity himself as Máni's representative here on Nakar. With this knowledge, Fearlesscook retrieved his enormous cleaver "Butcher" and vowed to aide the heroic party on thier holy quest in Máni's name. Now, Fearlesscook serves as his acolyte and devout follower, hoping to further his understanding of his goddess and to prove his faith once again. In this, he may atone for the sins of worshiping that foul false idol, and again restore honour to the Uganiala clan name.

I will hunt and cook for my friends, restoring my clan's name and to prove my faith to Máni.

Bonds

Nox Spectre, The Bringer of Truth, is Máni's representative on Nakar, summoned by the Máni tribe and gifted to the word. I must aide Nox in whatever way I can, to bring about the will of Máni.

Flaws

Gearhak believes that Máni is the true god and, while others may worship lesser gods, this is a little pathetic. Due to this, he can sometimes act a little condesendinly towards practitioners of other faiths.

Tribal Chef: Gearhak has proficiency in Cook's Tools     Loyalty Special Feature Exotic Chef: Gearhak can harvest parts of monsters and can incorporate them into meals. With access to Cook's Tools and a form of preservation (Salt, vinegar, etc), Gearhak can not only cook meat from some Beasts, Plants, Monstrosities, Giant, and Aberrations, but can preserve the food for a number of weeks equal to his Proficiency Bonus.
