Winter Dwarf

These winter dwarves are very tough because they have lived in the frigid north for generations. The have become so tough that the cold becomes almost unnoticeable by the dwarves. 
ability score increase: +3 Constitution +1 strength -1 dexterity.
age: Dwarves mature at the same rate as humans, but they're considered young until they reach the age of 50. On average, they live about 350 years.
alignment: Usually lawful neutral.
Size: Tiny
speed: 25ft but no speed penalty from heavy armor.
Languages: Common and Dwarvish
race features:
  • Darkvision. Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
  • Dwarven Resilience. You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.
  • Dwarven Combat Training. You have proficiency with the battleaxe, handaxe, light hammer, and warhammer.
  • Tool Proficiency. You gain proficiency with the artisan's tools of your choice: smith's tools, brewer's supplies, or mason's tools.
  • Stonecunning. Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to the origin of stonework, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
  • Winter's Endurance. You can resistance to cold damage and whenever you get hit by cold damage, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d10. You may use this feature as many times as equal to your constitution modifier (minimum of 1).
These dwarves have been built to deal against the cold. They are usually seen with frozen hair and beards, which doesn't bother them in the slightest. The usually wear heavy coats and robes to battle against the cold. Although they might seem unfriendly, they are actually just naturally cautious because they spend a lot of time in mines with lots of deadly creatures.
