  • Darkvision. Thanks to your infernal heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
  • Hellish Resistance. You have resistance to fire damage.

  Bloodline of Deldiavo   The tieflings connected to first devil command the power of fire and darkness, guided by a keener than normal intellect, as befits those linked to Deldiavo himself.
  • Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
  • Infernal Legacy. You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Hellish Rebuke spell once as a 2nd-level spell. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Darkness spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells again with this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Bloodline of Bezaal   The crumbling realm of Modomoliza is ruled by Bezaal, who excels at corrupting those whose minor sins can be transformed into acts of damnation. Tieflings linked to this archdevil can corrupt others both physically and psychically.
  • Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
  • Legacy of Modomoliza. You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Ray of Sickness spell once as a 2nd-level spell with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast cast the Crown of Madness spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Bloodline of Brokarenti   The great city of Brokas occupies most of The Spiralling Infernos second ring. It is a place where secrets are uncovered and shared with the highest bidder, making tieflings tied to Brokarenti's excellent spies and infiltrators.

Bloodline of Flammabolia   A master manipulator, Flammabolia allows tieflings tied to her forceful personalities to exert a dominating presence.

When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Charm Person spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Bloodline of Glasindria   Glasindria, known as the great schemer of the infernal rings grants her tieflings great boons to help in their own schemes.

Bloodline of Arturassa   From his cold realm of Antarus, Arturassa grants those who descend from his realm protection from the cold. While offering bargains to those willing to make a dark deal.

Bloodline of Luk'wither   Obsessed with excessive gain, Luk'wither loves coin and gold. This trait extending to the tieflings descending from his realm.

  • Legacy of Ledil. You know the Mage Hand cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Tenser's Floating Disk spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Arcane Lock spell once with this trait, requiring no material component, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Bloodline of Vinimorgus   In the desolate wastes of Noltus, Vinimorgus offers the powers of the arcane to those who pledge themselves and those descended from his realm come to find themselves adept in some arcane arts.
  • Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
  • Legacy of Noltus. You know the Mage Hand cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Burning Hands spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Flame Blade spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Bloodline of Olzaius   The bloodlust of Ozaius increases the strength of both those who make pacts with her and those that descend from her realm.
  • Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1.
  • Legacy of Dorius. You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Searing Smite spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Branding Smite spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Tiefling Variants   Since not all tieflings are of the blood of Deldiavo, some have traits that differ from those in the Player's Handbook. The Dungeon Master may permit the following variants for your tiefling character, although Devil's Tongue, Hellfire, and Winged are mutually exclusive.
  • Appearance. Your tiefling might not look like other tieflings. Rather than having the physical characteristics described in the Player's Handbook, choose 1d4 + 1 of the following features: small horns; fangs or sharp teeth; a forked tongue; catlike eyes; six fingers on each hand; goat-like legs; cloven hoofs; a forked tail; leathery or scaly skin; red or dark blue skin; cast no shadow or reflection; exude a smell of brimstone.
  • Feral. Your Intelligence score increases by 1, and your Dexterity score increases by 2. This trait replaces the Ability Score Increase trait.
  • Devil's Tongue. You know the Vicious Mockery cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Charm Person spell once as a 2nd-level spell. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Enthrall spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells again with this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells. This trait replaces the Infernal Legacy trait.
  • Hellfire. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Burning Hands spell once as a 2nd-level spell. This trait replaces the Hellish Rebuke spell of the Infernal Legacy trait.
  • Winged. You have bat-like wings sprouting from your shoulders. You have a flying speed of 30 feet while you aren’t wearing heavy armor. This trait replaces the Infernal Legacy trait.
